Dalmuir Credit Union has over 2,000 Junior Savers.
Child accounts are savings only and these savings are withdrawable at any time.
Junior members can save their money for special occasions like holidays, christmas etc or even for that new
computer game!
Savings would be transferred into
an adult account when they reach 16, although they will not be permitted to borrow until18.
To make application for junior account then verification of both trustee and child is required:
Trustee identification required -
either a passport,
driving licence or
birth/marriage cert
and also either a recent council tax letter,
gas/elec bill or
bank statement
Child identification required:
Passport or birth certificate
